Went to an old standby area which always gives up a little. It gave a little, but what a large spoon. I am going to make a bracelet with that one. That's a record for me!

Got some coins.....always nice to slip in a silver every now and then.

Some cool stuff and that dinky truck I really like. Congrats!

First it was a contest about rings and now it's about who has the biggest spoon...Lol Nice finds, John. Love the little truck and nice silver.

Thats a grain scoop! :surprised: Heck, you can make a bracelet out of the shaft, and a hat out of the bowl!
Mud

Darn it, John, that spoon must have belonged to Paul Bunyan! I've found an almost identical red Indian and the brass talcum powder tops, heh.
I think I found your Dinky truck - it must be fairly rare, as it took a lot of lookin'; Dinky Toys Market Gardener's Van #25f 1946-1949. Very cool find, and nice catch on the silver and other coins, too! (Here's a link to some ebay listings of your truck: http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2047675.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.Xdinky+toys+25f&_nkw=dinky+toys+25f&_sacat=0&_from=R40 )

 I found one of those Bamahas start fish coins a few years ago also. I have a book that gives reference to a Fur Trade post that used to be were the Edmonton water treatment plant is now. Be aware though that this was published in 1949.
