I have a couple toggle switch's on my Conquistador

I checked the package of the ones I used on my Eldo and Silver

They were M6.3 x 6.35mm thread

PM Robert at Tesoro he'll be able to tell you the toggle switch size used.

Thanks Sven.

i used a little clear silicone when I put mine on,,,,, it was just a tad to big so I put a drop on the end of the switch and then a light coat on the bottom,,,,,,, it's still there 14 months later,,,,,

You can also go to your local radio shack. I have taken a couple detectors there for toggle boots and they usually have what you are looking for. Nice thing is they have a variety so you can test them before you go off ordering the wrong size or thread type. Hope this helps. HH -Marc

Thanks Marc, that's what I probably will do. After looking at the picture I have post above I noticed that they are for a smaller type toggle switch than what I have, my switches are more of a paddle handle.

You won't find one for the paddle, you would have to cut the tip off like I did on the Silver & Eldo.

That's a fine looking pistol you have there Sven, do you have to have a special license to carry that thing in Canada. If you take it out for hunting big game you might want to try these magnum shells

P.S. Thanks for the tip on cutting off the tips of the boots

I saw a post where a guy took shrink tubing and lightly heated it till it shrunk over the toggles.
I thought about that but the only heat thats going to be around my Conquistador is the heat from all that power comming out of the coil.

Know what you mean. Whenever I soldered the tab/check switch combo to my Silver umax, I placed a thick triple ply of aluminum foil between the wiring and components as a heat shield. Also used alligator clips as a heat sink.
