Will the X-50 go as deep on coins as the X-70. I need a back up detector and can't find a used X-70 anywhere.

Will the X-terra 50?

Although I believe the X-70's ability to be more finely adjusted (NC, GB, Sens) allow it to "go" a little deeper, I think you'd find either one of them will "go" as deep as you may want to dig! If you're not able to find a used X-70, depending on how much you were wanting to spend, you might consider a new 305 or 505 instead. These two newer models added functionality that wasn't available on the X-30 and X-50. Multiple tones, an additional Pattern mode, ability to use additional coils, software enhancements etc. JMHO HH Randy

I have had both I think my 70 goes a little deeper. I find things I missed with the 50 but the 70 can be more fine tuned. That is probaly why I find more.
