Yes, it will work on the XLT as well.
Blue Max / Black Max / Bullseye coils will work on any Whites with 6,59 kHz operating frequency.
There are some older 6b models, that will only work on certain older detectors though.
But this is not the case with the 15inch Blue Max.
Be prepared for the additional weight though.
Maybe you should consider using a harness (military or Swingy Thingy) to take some of the weight off your swinging arm/wrist.
