Will the AT Pro or Ace 350 pickup a thin gold chain ????

I'm sure this question has been asked before, I just can't find it.

Will the AT Pro or Ace 350 pick up thin gold chains ???

I am trying to find a second Garrett machine that will complimant my Sea Hunter Mark 2.

I'm leaning toward the AT pro only because it's waterproof.

Thanks, Darryl

The first thing I did when I received my AT PRO was test out a gold chain! BAM!! It range in nice. I am looking forward to water hunting this season

Well today I met a guy at a park he had an E trac and found some gold.. one piece had an attached small gold chain, and i mean a sliver pf a thing.
His E trac couldn't detect the chain but the At could in Pro mode .. rang 43 if i remember right.

I found 2 nice gold chains with my Ace 250. One was small that would fit around your wrist. The other was a 22 inch 14 K medium link chain. Neither one had large clasps either. Although I haven't found a chain with the ATpro in the wild. It hit my test chains and rings strong right before I sent them off to be recycled. Now I'm waiting for depositors to start swimming.
