Will the AT Pro or Ace 350 pick up thin gold chains ???

I'm sure this question has been asked before, I just can't find it.

Will the AT Pro or Ace 350 pick up thin gold chains ???

I am trying to find a second Garrett machine that will complimant my Sea Hunter Mark 2.

I'm leaning toward the AT pro only because it's waterproof.

Thanks, Darryl

Keep on leaning!! The AT will give you much more bang for the buck than the 350. Will it pick up thin gold chains?? About as good as any VLF machine. I tested one when I first got my AT and it would hit the clasp, VDI down in the foil range. A chain by itself, laid out, no. It did give a little scratchy noise, but nothing I would scoop. Neither would the 350. But I don''t really care about the chains, I want what was hanging on them!!
