Oh yeah! This 0ne's kinda special. I was only in 2 bars sensitivity so I wouldn't dig deep screwcaps, I had also switched to my custom mode-which is nothing more than the coins mode with the foil icon added. Also, I had been hunting 2 days with the battery at 3 bars and right before I found it I noticed it FINALLY went to the 2 bar mark where I normally change batteries. So I switched to customs mode so I wouldn't use up the battery on tab signals, etc. Gave a solid nickel reading-10k gold.

I have a friend that owns several minelabs and also an ACE 250 he purchased a couple years ago from someone that bought it for their son but didn't use it much. Anyway he belongs to a club and decided to go to a park where they have club hunts to try and find some of the planted coins the club members had not retrieved. He decided to take his ACE 250 along and when he got there 2 other club members were already detecting.
The area is littered with lots of pull tabs and other normal park junk from picnic goers. The park has been gone over by every machine in the spectrum of detectors from high end to the low. He was there just a few minutes and got a good solid nickel signal and dug a plug. I don't remember the exact depth he estimated it to be but there sat a nice gold class ring. He called one of the club members over to the plug before he pulled the ring out of the hole to show him what he had found and the other club member was in awe.

The ACE series machines are not cheap toys, they work for sure.

Nice Find

Well, I'm trying to see if I can get this el cheapo camera that my wife bought to work. Here's another try.

Alright!:bouncy:Cograts on the gold!:beers: Happy Hunting!:)

I found four rings last year, and with the ACE 250. However, all of the silver coinage, about $20 worth, all were found with my 2500 in all metal mode.
