Will the 8.5 x 11dd coil on the AT Pro work on the AT Pro Gold

If you had a hunting buddy using the AT Pro and your using the AT Pro Gold can we switch coils in the field.

Yes,
I have both PRO & GOLD and use the large coil on both. Going to try the smaller coil tomorrow just to see how is does.
 
they operate on different Frequencies,the AT Pro at 15 KHZ and the AT Pro Gold at 18 Khz..That will work out good then.

Yup...all the AT coils will fit on BOTH machines...3kHz is not that big of a difference...I would bet the coils are actually designed for a frquency in the middle, like 16.5kHz...
