Will Tesoro...

I would have thought the answer would have been 'NO' a clause must have been written in the warrenty as a get out,i doubt that any detector manufacturer would do free warrenty repair.Of course i could be wrong but i dont think i am,Tesoro also have a clause if you sell the detector as the lifetime warrenty is only with the original owner.

from what I have been told they will work on it but it will be restored back to original and all charges will be applied even if you are the original owner of the machine. Now this is what I was told so take it for what its worth . Best bet is to call and speak to someone there

off the forums and had toggle switch problems. Talked to Michelle at Tesoro and she said to send it in. They will replace toggle switch, restore/tune machine and send it back to me for $50. This does not include the price of the coil if it was bad but for $50 to have it restored/tuned, fixed, that's worth it to me. thanks

Getting a detector back that's to factory specs for $50 is deal in itself, but getting a switch replaced is a added bonus.

If you had been the original owner regardless of how long you owned the detector, it would be repaired and put back to factory specs for free.

Ok. Let me clear this up a little. I am not talking about warranty work. I am just asking will they work on it at all if I modify it? I plan on adding a coil change connector to my Compadre. I assumed this would void my warranty. I just wanted to know if I could get it worked on in the future if it needed repairs. For a charge of coarse.
