Will someone please take time to explaing "The Wiggle"?!!

Dennis,
It is just wiggling the coil back and forth (left to right to left to right and etc.) over the target with about a 1/2" or so swing. This allows you to get a good read on the target sound.
You can also slowly pull the coil back towards you until the target sound goes away. For targets deeper than a couple of inches, the target sound goes away when the coin is "about" directly below the center front edge of the coil. This is a handy tool in pinpointing the target.
HH,
Glenn

The captain explained it well. Let me say woked much better on a Sov. to pull deepie numbers to ID targets, but helps with an Expl.
