Will I notice much of a difference in depth with the Vasquero over my Bandido2 uMax?

How about the Tajon. Or...
Should I save my money and just invest in a couple extra coils for my Bandido?

Possibly, but it will really depend upon the ground make-up and the types of targets (metal alloy) you're most apt to find. Let's not forget the settings used, too!

Again, the same can be said about the Tej

Thanks Monte. I live in the Sacramento area with moderate to high mineral content.
And due to the unbelievable population around here ( I lived most of my life in Montana )
the trash content is high also,so I guess it just makes more sense to go with a smaller coil.
Now I'm leaning on the Vaquero....Are the Bandido2uMax coils interchangeable with it?
I thought Tesoro had a coil to detector chart on their site but can't seem to locate it.

BTW....just read your old Power Balance post. Good thing to know. Thanks

Hi Dang, I recently got a Bandito II uMax. I like it very well, have found numerous small jewelry items and a few rings (nothing real valuable) along with a bunch of clad coins. I am pleased with the depth of the Bandito up here (northern New York & more than pleased with how well it hits on small targets. Depth is nice but it isn't everything. The Vaquero and the Bandito coils are not interchangable. The Bandito uses the 5 pin uMax coils and the Vaquero uses the 4 pin "H.O.T." coils Steve.
