Hey everyone!!! Glad to see you are still here. I have been trying to take as many courses before the G.I. Bill runs out in September. I was guaraneed 3 years but had to use it in under 10. I waited 7 years and will lose about 10 months of it because I did not attend during the summer and was only a part timer before I got laid off from work. I have filed for an extension, but need a medical reason. The VA doesn't seem to execpt alcoholism as a good medical reason. Oh well. Anyways I have been taking 15 credits and working as a research assistant. It is crazy to think I will have my final in Statistics on Monday; the 9th day of class  Yes all the classes are condensed. I got an A in both health classes and should have an A in theater so that is a relief. Sociology 315 is a bear. I guess it would have helped to take Soc101 and 201 :) It has been stressful in terms of workload and my long distancere marriage to a woman I can't seem to get enough of. The roof needs to be done and I just found out the tub leaked and ruined the sheetrock below. It is tough trying to fix it from 175 miles away and it is hard for my wife to run the household when I am not there.
Fortuneately School has brought us closer together. We have realized how much we mean to one another and how strong our love is. It is a wonderful feeling.
Today was my first few hours of relaxation in terms of hobbies. I managed to get out fishing and finally got my father inlaw to go. We heard the bowfin were biting and thought we would try our luck. He bought the worms and we also brought three shrimp. I caught the first bullhead and then gave the rod to him on the second fish. Sure enough it was a nice bowfin about 4lbs. I was determined to catch one myself and did a while later. It was ~ the same size and was also my first bowfin. I was glad to get out with him as we don't get to spend a lot of time together. Hope I didn't sound like I was complaining as we all have ou struggles. I just figured i'd let my friends know how I was doing. Have a good one and hope to post the fish pics next week and perhaps some finds!
