Will be traveling to Honolulu Hawaii from 4-6 to 4-18. Any locals out there either to help with info on detecting or to join me? Details to follow when available. Only have the flights now and hotel info coming later.
Thanks a bunch!!!

The locals generally keep to themselves. If you plan on working in the water, you may come across a few who might say hello. Many hunt after the beach is emptied of people and will hunt until dark or later. The dry sand is also hunted at the end of the day.
I woke up every morning at 6 a.m. and although I made some finds, it was obvious that the beach had been hunted earlier. Also, they groom the beaches every day and there are few footprints in the sand in the morning.
In Waikiki, I managed on sterling ring with an 18kt insert in the water and a sterling Gucci dogtag and chain in the dry sand. Good hunting.
