Will any PI machines reject IRON good?

I had a Whites PI machine about ten years ago or so. I went nuts digging up small nails and bits of rust everywhere on these local beaches where I live now. They burn wood on the beach here... So I was wondering if there are any new PI detectors that will discriminate.

Thanks!
Gregg

I don't know of one that would discriminate out iron for you. There are some PI's units with great audio like a VLF in the all metal mode. With practice you can tell if something might be iron most of the times. I saw this video on youtube. If this guy can build a PI unit that has different tone/signals for different metals why can't the major manufactures build one?

The PI machines from Minelab should have some iron discrimination capability as well as the Garrett Infinium.
