Pic #1 and #2 is a before and now. It's totally changed the bottom. I tried to mirror where Larry stood and took pic. #1 Pic #3 is where you guy's once walked. Pic#4 shows just part of the damage path. Even though the park is pretty tore up there is an upside. When I was taking the pic's this afternoon I did see some really colorful flint, agates, quartz, and geodes. Just thought I would share this with you now that's it's flip'n needs to dry out before I go detecting again.

Wow I wouldn't have recognized the place. That is a lot of rock that has been moved by Mother nature.

That's really something Robbie. Unbelievable what too much rain can do. Oh, by the way.........I think that's Daryl standing to the left. Not Larry. Thanks for the pictures. Really makes ya think. Also congrats on the mineral finds. I wish I was there hunting for those myself. What a great time we had.

I re-read your post and now I understand after Larry telling me............it was where Larry took the picture. Dah....Sorry about that.

Do I see another field trip in the works? Rock hunting is fun too after the water recedes.

Steve, If you come over now you might want to bring a complete wet suit. The bottom has standing water everywhere right now. Bad part we are forecasted for more thunderstorms the next few day's again.

We're game. I love to rock hunt!

Is this public land? Just wondering in case my wife and I have nothing else to do and decide to take a road trip.

Yes this is public. It's one of four parks here in town. Wildcat is the largest and is about 80 acres in size. Come over and have at it. There's 100's of cubic yards to sift through.
