Has to be a coil that is made for a Sov/Xcal.

Donny,

Is it a BBS 1000? That is the Sovereign coils and used on the older XS2 and XS2a. Now if it says anything else it is for a different detector and will not work on the Sovereigns.

Rick some one offered it to me but wasnt sure by their descripton of it "xs1000 but I as asuming it was the older heavier model coil for sovs when I was searchn for the S12 btw I found one

These seem to be a hard coil to find used as most want to keep them that have them. I used both the older Ultra Depth and the new Intruder and found they work great,I did the Field test on the new X12 for Sun Ray for park use and this coil is impressive for even park hunting where there is moderate trash.

You will have to let us know what you think of it once you get it.

Rick.....It should be here any day now....I got a good deal from an old forum buddy...who had one available. I cant wait to hit the fields & beaches with it......I have another friend who uses it on the beaches and she really kicks butt with some amazing finds so I know the S12 will perform admirably for sure. More to come .
