Platinum!!!! Haven't found one of these critters in over 2 years!! 9.97 grams but I don't know if its 900 or 950 all it says inside is PLAT. At 900 its worth 451.00. Got to love that!! Beautiful day in the water. Took my boat out in lake St Clair. I love the wind in my face going 37 mph. Anyway just waded, such a beautiful day in Michigan today. 11 quarters, 10 dimes, 2 nicklels, and 29 pennies were my coin finds. Also got my second Gerber knife. Big one. Old brass ring and the plat are on a 50 cal shell in the pictures.

Kevin might have had a great day also. Will see after he does some research!!

Great one SD!!

I've yet to find one except for recovering one for a nice young man in the waters of a Long Island Sound beach.

Now lets see, how far is it to Michigan from here??

Wow, nice find. In all the years I've been hunting, 36 on land, 5 in the water, I've never found a platinum ring, you did good. HH

Congrats on your great finds, scubadetector!
Just curious, what kind of tone does platinum give on CZ machines?

Mid tones, just like most gold. Although I have had gold give high tones and bell tones. But most are mid.

Thanks all for your re\plies!!!!
