Just a question of what treasure related books or magazines does everyone like to read?
I have so many books I have read many times in the off season, some how I managed to get a great deal on a boat load of old Treasure World Magazines. Charles Garrett has written a few good books. Karl Von Mueller has to be my favorite authors, lucky enough for me to find a few of his hard to find books.

Thanks for looking

Have you tried Western & Eastern treasure magazine...

I have no end of detecting magazine going back decades that i like reading, but i do like collectiong old books for research purposes this would be mainly local history related books, when the local library sells off old books i tend to buy a few of them for research purposes as well.Old carboot sales and jumble sales are also another good source of books as well.

Old coin books are also nice to find as they can help you i.d old coins,i am finding that another good source of books is house clearing sales, you can find some real hidden gems, and when you combine it with the modern day internet you have a massive amount of research material on hand.

Research during the winter months keeps me going till the new detecting season starts again.

Thanks yes I do have a few years subscriptions of W&E and Lost Treasure both excellent reading. I put the magazines in a binders.

If you are into civil war relic hunting there are myriads of books and guides with pictures to help identify military items-my personal library is full of them. Sometimes you can get a good deal on used books on ebay.

Also. I highly recommend a subscription from coin world for 20 bucks-magazine comes out once a month and includes coin price guide with interesting articles on various collectible coins.

W&E treasures and Lost Treasure are great magazines and keep your interest in the hobby active during the winter months and rainy days.
