Wife's first hunt.

I just bought a new Compadre in hopes that my wife or son would enjoy detecting with me sometime.Little did I know with in 10min into our first hunt she would find a pocket watch.I could tell what she was thinking,"HA HA HA" .The worse part was that I had been over this spot several times with the Vequero.I guess there are advantages to the smaller coil in a trash pile! I'm not at all jealous but I have never found a watch.

Any way I did find this brass tag .It was about 6in deep and brown when I unearthed it after at least 70 years of darkness.I buffed it up at work today and it looks as it did when it was new.Now can anyone tell me what it went on? Jeff G's car is not the correct answer lol.

Great news!

That's probably the best thing in the world that could have happened!

Every body under estimates the Compadre.

She may surprise you from time to time.

It's my first choice for finding gold jewelry.

It's great in trash. It's just hard to beat.
