Wife snags this ring this morning with her CZ5.

because of the amount of pulltabs that she was hitting in this sporting area. But the ring was just barely under the surface, so the CZ5 gave the overload signal, which she always checks those and low & behold, heres a gold ring. This is the second or third gold ring she has found in this fashion in the last year. I've only found one in the past 3 years. A lot of silver ones but only one gold and I've hunted with CZ5, CZ3d, CZ70, CZ7, Coinstrike, ID Excel, Quattro, Cortes, GT&i1500, Xterra 70 just to name a few.

But I firmly believe, it's not the machine, it's the person using it. If your not lucky, then you can have all the detectors in the world and some guy who just bought a Bounty Hunter at Wal-Mart and is trying it out will mostlikely skunk you if he's got a little luck on his side.

I was told years ago by an old man who I think was a decendent of pirates, while I was living in St.Thomas that if you happen upon a treasure or valuable item, it was mostlikely meant for you to find it.
