Second trip to beach and it pays off. My wife is loving this beach saphire and now ice and rubies. I am actually excited to get back to this beach. I have been thru a long dry spell and it is nice to find some good items. YES, my heart missed a beat or two when I looked into the scoop this time. I hit another target next to this ring and spent thirty minutes chasing a penny. I loaded up and left. I knew what luck I had was done for the day.

Hope all enjoy and do not give up. I was really tired of going and finding little or just find newly lost rings to return but the persistence paid off in the last two trips.

Thanks all I really was excited on this one myself. I called wife from beach and MMS picture and before I could get out of parking lot she claimed this one. I was in salt water chest high with DF machine. It gave a very good tone and did not lie!!!
 
I have to pick some areas not to use it in and only because my back would give from digging trash. But yes I do like the machine and feel if any will read it will. I truly think it is deeper than conventional machines. I have 300 bhid and have on accasion used it then went behind on the DF and picked up items left by the other one. But that is what they say it will do and the reason we all got it to begin with.
Overall yes I like wish tones were a little better for my hearing range is hard to hear. I have some hearing damage from prior years of shooting and racing motorcycles.
