wide scan coil

I have one for the Vaquero. Bought it just for the beach. Works great in both modes. Gets a dime at 5 inches in the sand, good signal. Tried it one time in the park, gets coins at maybe 5 inches. It detects from tip to tip. Pinpointing is exact using either tip. Jabbo
 
I really like my CS!

Very good for sweeping a large sports field.

My pinpoint is about an inch towards me, from the end of the tip... either end, it doesn't care!

They are a little heavy, but someone here advised that I could turn it around, and ease up a bit on the balance.
Haven't tried that yet, as I usually only hunt for short periods, but sounds good to me.
