non motion mode versus motion mode? What are the benefits of swinging versus not swinging? thanks Lewis

Lewis, My thoughts are that if you are in an extremely extremely trashy area, you could use a smaller coil and run in TR non motion mode to avoid interference of trash objects. By using non motion you would simply not be scanning all of the trash possibly right next to the good stuff. I would imagine it will be a very slow process, but could reap rewards in the right spot.
Just my idea as I have just the spot where my brother and I are planning to try this.
