I headed out today to search a house I was given permission to hunt and when I arrived my Eagle II SL wouldn't power on.I tried both battery packs to no avail.Took it apart and checked for a possible plug that came loose but nothing.I must note...before I left I tapped on the detector where the battery pack goes to get the coil shaft to go up farther. This machine has worked fine up till now.PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hay Paul, I have a Eagle II SL, I love this detector. Where the two points that the battery go to, pull them out just a little. not much be careful not to bake them. now take a q-tip and clean them off a Little. put battery back and try.Mine did the same and that is what i did. Good luck Dean

Otherwise do like Dean said thats usually the issue
