This baby showed up on the doorstep 2 days ago. No, not the wife (that was ...well..long ago), her Ace 250. We opened it because if mine isn't back from Texas in 2 days I will need to field test it..err use it until mine gets back. Wouldn't want my honey to have an un-tested machine. I'll shake it down and make sure it works right :thumbup: So for $212 and free S&H here is what she gets:
1- Garrett Ace 250
2 - Rain Covers
2 - Padded headphones with volume control
1- Heavy duty digging tool
1 - Garret logo gear bag
1 - How to Find Lost Treasure by Charles Garrett
1 - 2008 Garrett Metal Detectors calendar
1 - Hour of training from a master treasure hunter, i.e. yours truly.

A shake down hunt is the least you can do for her.
 
Saran wrap and duct tape, it doesn't get any better than that.
 
Well, aint she a lucky Gal! Her own ACE 250. If she's like my wife, she will get all the luck and best finds. And she's perty too ;)

I think you made the right choice (opening it early).......Christmas day you should go out for a hunt & see what kind of "presents" you can find :thumbup:

What a great gift Bro and I really appreciate it for sure. Now when I come down there in Feb I won't have to bring mine along. I'll use yours and you can snag the wifeys....:twodetecting::inlove::rofl: (nice looking lady you got to pose for the pic also....:devil:)
 
I think I'll follow your wife. She looks like she has a lot of "bling" to loose. Nice deal on the Ace - 2 headsets and 2 covers! Where did you get that deal?

Now you can tell her to find her own Bling! Well after thinking about that you may not be getting any hot meals either. Better just keep buying her the Diamonds!
 
Hey you might get lucky. When my wife was still able to tect she found a lot of nice stuff. When she first got her tector she walked out in the back yard and found a Black Hills gold ring right off the bat, and that was with an old Compass TR ( course it was new then. ) Hard telling what she would find with a modern machine. She really misses detecting. When I come back from a hunt soon as I get in the door she wants to see what I found.

Woo Hoo, Honey gave me the green light to test drive her new MD seeings mine isn't back from the repair shop yet. I might just make that 10K all time mark before the end of the year yet. I'll keep you all posted.:detecting::thumbup:
