I was just wondering. Why no seprate manticore forum. but we got a smoking and grilling forum. i don't smoke so i wont be visiting there. how does the manticore hold up compared to the 3030. i have heard that once you use a manticore you won't use the 3030 anymore. i have doubts...

The Manticore is an amazing detector!-----I sincerely hope there will be an Manticore Forum created--it certainly deserves it.

In the weight category yes and recovery yes I personally can't swing one so I'll keep the core

I suppose this is the Manticore forum. I had issues with the 3030 weight too. I mean snapping in my forearm muscles, to the point I switched right handed to left handed the last time I owned one. If I get one again I will need the pro swing to go with it, or take it apart and put the housing on some mount or in a backpack.
