Why is this forum so damned slow?

Do you have cable, DSL or dial up:throw:

i think sometimes if there is alot of hits it slows down at peak hours late at night it don't do that (go slow) its pretty quick

I noticed not many people have been posting. I have not had anything to show, so I have not been very active. The physical speed, however, seems fine to me.

finally just gave up. tried in the morning, mid-day and evening. timed out everytime.

oh well.

a couple of weeks back. Switched browsers, used Firefox and everything went smooth. Wretched MS Explorer was the problem that time. I keep Firefox (it's free) installed on my computers just in case IE goes hinky on me!!

I might add that one. I have MS and AOL. Sometimes on here you can pass away waiting for a page or pic to load.

Dial up right now but never had any problems in the past. Maybe this place is getting to danged popular.

I have dial-up......and it's Net Zero on top of that.........I think sometimes the NZ hamster can't spin the wheel fast enough to keep-up. :throw:

I hope oneday for high-speed..........

Bill[/quote]Which means that dirt fishing is getting popular which means we won't find as much which means....:lmfao:

Been awhile since I heard someone with dial-up - been awhile since I used it myself.
High speed - wireless laptop keeps me from being tethered to the desktop. Like a jackrabbit on steroids :jump:

Dial-up is bad enough.....Net Zero makes it that much worse. Extremely solw-speed, pics usually time-out before loading, constantly booted offline......but it's this or nothing, $10 a month & I think I'm taking it in the pants. Makes trying to enjoy the forums alittle aggrivating :throw:
