Why I didn't go to Surf Church this Sunday.:detecting::nono::cool::thumbup:

I was getting my gear together to catch the low tide at Horseshoe Bay on Sunday as a good pirate should when I got the Call. My mate Glenn called to say that there was a bunch of his mates going out to the Blue Cuts for some snorkelling and spearfishing and would the Princess and I like to come along? "Sure" I said "When"? "In the next5 Minutes would be good" said my mate Glenn. Crikey! I can't get there in 5 minutes! Then I remembered that I was in Bermuda and 5 minutes means anything less than an hour! So we loaded up out snorkelling gear and head down to the wharf and a dingy ride to 'Great Bear' where the rest of the crew were waiting. We got on board Capt. Martin's fishing boat and headed out to sea and a refeshing snorkelling expedition.(Martin used to treasurehunt with Harry Cox a contemporary of Teddy Tucker)
We saw lots of beautiful coral, seafans and fish but we didn't spear any fish this day. A clean kill of something really tasty is an unwritten rule that we follow and there just wasn't anything that fit the bill.

Long Island Sound waters most of the time are brown and you are lucky to see your toes in knee deep water.

n/t

If I was there, I believe I would have a hard time taking off my freedive gear, and putting away the speargun to bring the detector out..... Wish the freediving looked like that here! Spearfish...detect....spearfish...detect... aaahhh the decisions.....

I'll let you know if I'll be onisland during your visit, Mat. Nevis is calling to me and I REALLY need some time offisland. I'll be making a decision by the end of the week.

Cheers Mate,

of the ladies in the first picture is the elusive "princess?"

Also, please tell me that you are NOT the guy to the left with the little blue bathing suit w/ tan lines :yikes: :look:

Give me a call bro' when you have a chance!!

The Princess isn't in any of the pics but here's one from a hunt at Chaplin Bay.

The Princess can be a little camera shy.
