why hasnt Minelab converted to 180 meters?

The new Digisearch made for the GT are now 180 meters. I think you will see any meter now made for any of the new Sovereigns will be the 180 numbers. These new meters I understand will not work on the older Sovereigns for some reasons and the older meters have to have something done to them to work on the GTs. The Sun Rays will work on them all.

hey donny ,
i have the new digisearch meter i got for the GT and it a 180. seems like a great meter as it seems to lock on good. its also real easy to calibrate. when i go out i'll throw a dime on the ground and re calibrate in 2 seconds if i need to.

Stan.....I have two 180 meters for my Elite ....but had to send one in for service to ML......should be back soon...& I was wondering ?
