Why does my CZ-20 go deeper in Disc mode

than in Autotune. Shouldn't it be the other way around.
 
Many CZ20 users including myself, find that their's goes deeper in disc mode.

I like to hunt in autotune it seems to grab on to targets better and then switch over to disc and listen if its ferrous or non. You can cover alot of ground in a short time this way. I have not seen a difference in depth but I hunt fresh water only.
 
Don't know, I run mine in disc. and find that I get deeper depth and broader response from it also. I know a lot of people say otherwise but maybe it has to do with location. I'm happy with the way my bad boy 20 works.
 
wouldn't you be able to cover more ground by using the disc. mode instead of checking each signal in both modes.
