Why do posts disappear

I made a post yesrerday, May 7 but it is gone today. Why?
 
:starwars: I may be blind but not wrong. I made a post titled "Sum Gold today" and posted photo. It appeared almost immediatly but now is gone. The attached photo was there. Maybe dissappearing ink?
 
Me too. Have no idea where it went. The ring in the center is 14K white gold. It has a slight yellow cast from being very close to a lava rock which caused a little electrolisis from the high iron content. I felt a little cheated as I thought it was platinum at first sight.
 
Yep, same beach on a three hour hunt. Also dug a few silver rings and handfull of change.
