This device is the cat's meow!! No more struggling to see if the coin dates 1851 or if its sterling silver. Mind, you this is on one of the lowest resolution settings. After much research (and for the price) I will say it is one of the best electronic microscopes out there. Are you struggling to see dates, mint marks, writings etc?

Extremely easy to set up and can be taking pictures within minutes.

Plug into a USB slot on your computer and install the enclosed software. It's that simple.

Here are some of the goodies I have found with my detector.

Searched for it on the big S.American river website and found this info:
2 Mpixels camera
up to 50x optical zoom
up to 200x digital zoom
Price around the mid $30's.

Like the fact is has optical zoom too.
 
WOW! I wonder if a fellow could hook that thing up to the cell phone for in field closeups of bugs and whatnot? I know nothing about this modern gagetry as you are all aware...heck, mayby my phone already has a macro lens feature...I dont know?:shrug:

I wouldn't pay more then $40.00 for it. Look on the big selling site and use the search term Plugable electronic microscope.
