Just got an Olympus C-2500L. This is super macro.

Macro it with afternoon sunlight. I use my BBQ top of my Ducane grill. I like the slightly angle look of it in the direction of the low in the sky sun... It really helped me. Make sure once again that you don't have any zoom on it... and hold the camera still... Guvner..
 
I shoot at the highest resolution and then bring it into Photoshop and grab just the coin and then save it for web. (Photoshop optimization to make smaller files for Internet use..)
I will take one tomorrow when the sun comes out if it doesn't return today...
