Pirates were the first true democracy to come along since the early Athenians. The 'Captain' was elected by his crew as the ship was typically a prize, aka stolen. The 'Captain' ruled only so long as he had the support of his band of outlaws and could be replaced upon their displeasure at his leadership at any time.
So even if we pick a 'King of the Pirates' it would be a transient position maintained only by support of the rest of us crew, in True Pirate Tradition. There's the Rub, Me Hearties.

My brother, Mike, gets my vote because he plunders under the cover of darkness and consistently "shivers ye timbers" with spectacular images of gold, diamonds, silver and other impressive pirate booty. He even has a sidekick - like any respectable pirate who keeps his trusty parrot with him at all times - Mike has that little orange creature (Thing?) that helps him display all his loot.

Hi Eric, Never done any water hunting yet, but eyeing the forum here and love the terminology you guys use What the heck is a nut???? Love the pic of the parrot and also the guy with the hulk figure showing off the rings ...same guy? Also any guy hunting in the triangle's gotta be a pirate!!
