Relic season is upon us and the blood in my vanes is starting to pump harder !! The snakes and man eating skeeters and ticks are starting to hibernate! I love this time of year!! I just got a 1270 early this Spring and got to use it once and found 6 bullets in a couple hours so it's getting ready to work some overtime!!! So who alls with me on this?? Let's get them there relics out of the ground!!!!! Good luck guys!! And remember deer season is starting up wear that hunter orange!!!

I am and maybe Cain if we can ever get him to go. :detecting:

Yeah I know Ken I called him this morning and he was busy and couldn't go, check out my post on the Etrac forum I found a nice WW1 horse bridle rosette this morning.

I'm with ya Morgan. Went down to the shed today to put batteries back in my 4 detectors, 2 of which are screen savers, and the only one jerking the chain and barking to get out was the ole 1266.
Happy hunting this season Pal. :beers:

I'm excited about relic hunting with my new to me 1270. I haven't got it out to try it yet. I have some spots that are hammered & I would like to see how it does. Got a 10.5" coil for it so we shall see what it does.

Digger, you are going to love that coil for relics. Just takes a little practice pinpointing with it if you have not used one before. Good Luck!

I finally got a nice 1265X, with an 8 and an 11" coil. Works great, but I have yet to get out with it. I'm gonna leave the T2 home and see how the 1265 will do. Been digging for 35 years, and like the older beep and digs. :super:
