Who's land hunting with the CZ20/21?

-3.5 low tide tomorrow in Seattle, so I set my CZ21 up with the hip mount tonight and couldn't resist trying on land for the first time. I headed over to the old golf course which is now a public park and searched an area that I totally hammered with my E-Trac and CTX3030. No I didn't find anything that my land machines left behind, but I was really surprised that the CZ21 picked up a 9 inch clad dime I buried that my CTX barely hits on in this iron-infested site. I was in 0 Disc and the dime was past TID and all I could get was that faint grunt that every CZ hunter has to and always digs. This really impressed me, so I am now wondering how many of you use the CZ20/21 on land? I'm seriously thinking about it now because I could swing that light Anderson shaft and coil all day with this setup and I wouldn't feel outgunned by the FBS Minelab machines. The only thing I didn't like was that it was a pain to get on my knees with the control shaft hanging in front of me. Maybe I'll mount it behind me next time.

I used mine until I got my ctx 3030 I havent used it since then... I do like it, it goes DEEP but I enjoy knowing a little more about what I am digging.

I used it once for land hunting and lasted 2 hours swinging with the unit on the stock shaft...not very good on the arms :( I'll never do that again....

A tad heavy and bulky for land but does well in the water as thats what its made for..Lots of used CZ land units around and may be more practical to own a land and sea CZ...

Could lighten the load by using a chest mount harness.

I heard the CZ-20 was a little hotter than the CZ- 21? I don't mean to start another FirstTexas vs. Los Banos thing,But a good working CZ of any kind should hit a 9'' coin with the proper high tone. Even in salt mode.
