First I wish a happy fathers day to to all the fathers out there , I myself have two kids 14 year old and 13 year old , boy and a girl, I told them were going to the lake in the morning to hunt and then go out to eat and have a relaxing day, HH tigerhank68

Hank me and my son are getting ready to go hunt! My wife and 3 kids has already told me I can't make plans for Sunday so Lord only knows what they have planned for me! My kids are 19-15-10 two daughters and my sons my hunting buddy he's 10 and swings a Coinmaster with peewee rod to make it his size he usually smokes my tail and brags all week about it! It's awesome having a little hunting buddy!!

88jr it sounds like they have a huge day for ya Sunday, enjoy yourself and don't get spanked to bad today by your son lol, best of luck, tigerhank68

Thanks Hank I need all the luck I can get he calls his detector his QuarterRingmaster cause he finds a boat load of quarters and he's found several gold and silver rings and a while back we no more than got out of the truck and he walks 10 steps and finds a 56 silver quarter that's the kind of luck he has and I'm still ground balancing my higher dollar detector when he finds the silver quarter.LOL

ROTFL!!!!! I would take his detector away for that one! JJ

Happy Father's Day to all you Dads, I have a daughter 23 and a son 8 (Sarah & Adam), yes he was a surprise but a good surprise he was. I am hoping to go detecting some time tomorrow.

Hi Hank, and me too with a Happy Father's Day to Everyone, but Absolutely, I AIN'T going hunting Tomorrow. Last time I went hunting on Sunday was probably near bout 35 years ago. True Story: One Sunday after taking the kids to Church, and finishing dinner, I climbed the fence onto my Pa- in- law's old place to do some diggin on an old site back in his field. Well, I didn't get to it when I found one of his hogs dead as a hammer. I dug a hole and buried the hog, went home and rested from my diggin. That ordeal must not have impressed (sunk in) me very much so maybe 2 months later, I figured maybe to try it again. Climbed the same fence, same place, and did not go 10' and walked right onto another dead hog.?? Yeah Right! This one was Pa -in -Law's Pet, and he was twice as big as the first one I buried. Well, I finished the hole digging and burying process just about sundown, with just barely enough time to get cleaned up, round up the wife and kids and head for Church. Take it for what it is worth, but, Sunday is the Lord's Day far as I am concerned, and I'll spend it with Him and my Kids(50, 47 & 45) and ain't gona be no diggin going on! HH, Charlie

It's my very first fathers day and my daughter is not even old enough to crawl yet so she won't be missing me if I leave to hunt. I have already hinted so much to my wife that I want to go for a hunt after church so we will see what happens.
