Whoever "Jimdigs@comcast" is......you've been hacked like Charlie. I'm getting those wierd e-mails again.

for about a week now every time i do anything with yahoo i have to type in my password
and then it goes a page askin me to change my password

that persons friends and contacts. Obviously you have people that you have e-mail addresses for stored in your contacts lists. "Hackers" will access that information and then send out blanket e-mails to all of you contacts......many times without you even knowing it. I have been getting e-mails from Jimdigs and I'm sure he's not aware of it. Maybe we talked about a detector he had for sale and he saved my e-mail address on his computer, he got hacked and now I'm getting spam e-mail from the ###heads that have done it. The best way to get out of this situation is change your password. CAUTION !!! Be careful about changing your password at the suggestion of someone else..... it could be a phishing scam. That is when someone has your e-mail address and they will make up or send you an official looking e-mail and it's just a trick to get you to send them your password so that they can access your computer information. Lots of crooks out there. When they are caught, they should be forced to their knees and their right to breathe should be voided. Just my opinion.

As a prudent security matter I dont store passwords or contacts in my computer. They are in a book locked in my desk. Also use a virtual keyboard for them to avoid key loggers. There are many computer games that use key loggers to keep track of who is playing to tabulate high scores,if a hacker gets in he can misuse them to obtain passwords for spam or identity theft.

I used to get stuff like that from Bank of America. It came across in completely official looking e-mails saying that our information may have been stolen and that it was really important to change our e-mail paswords etc. etc. Follow the attached link so that everything was completely secure and on and on. Only one problem, we don't do any business with Bank of America !

malwarebytes and change your pass word to your mail box.I had 13 errors when I ran mine

Facebook is real Bad. You will get a post from a friend to fun link or something that looks like another Facebook page. This page will ask for you user name and pass word. In seconds it will lock you out of your account and start posting the link to your friends to get their user names and passwords.
