Who would like a 10"x14" coil ?

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in a 10"x14" coil for their Pro or Gold. I think it would be a great coil for my Gold for relic hunting. More coverage-more depth. Since Garrett already has a 10"x14" coil available for some of their other detectors, the cost would be very little to put this coil into production for the AT series. Maybe if enough people would show interest in this size of coil, Garrett might accommodate AT users and make them available. I know I would love to have one. Mark

Nope.

Its about time some mfg comes out with a big coil that's shaped hydrodynamically specifically for hunting large expanses of water. Weight of big coils is an issue on the land, in the water where the weight doesn't matter so much, the effort to swing a big coil does...if they were shaped to cleanly cut through the water, with little effort, that big coil would be a dream for people that hunt large swimming areas. Just sayin'

I've always wanted a bigger coil for my AT Gold for those open fields. I even ask Garrett awhile back about one.

CSI Pro....... excellent depth well when used in pro mode........ in open areas.

The Garret coils I have now are helping me find my primary targets just fine. Can't get much better than that.

I would rather have a large coil built by Garrett so I know it is built right for my machine. And for anyone who hasn't used a large coil you don't realize how much is just out of range with a smaller coil. This is true wether you are a coin, relic, or waterhunter as long as the conditions allow the use of a large coil. Garrett wouldn't have built the 10"x14" for some of there other detectors if it wouldn't benefit some users in some situations. Mark

Mark, I agree. Think it would be great for field hunting, looking for civil war relics. You could cover more ground in your hunting times. Chip
