Was wondering if anyone else would be interested in a big "single thread show and tell" Do one for each model starting with the Compadre.
Thought it would be fun to show all our gold/silver coins/jewelry totals for X amount of time spent- months/years/weeks in a single thread.
I'm really curious how others do with different models in different areas for different periods of time. I was going to show off my small pile of silver coins and jewelry for just over a years hunting with my C (no gold yet) but it would be way more fun and interesting to see everyone else join in too. I can see this being helpful in many ways.

If you think this sounds like a cool idea, go ahead and start without me. I'll put my stuff up tonight when I get home around 2:30AM.

Never mind

You have no patience...some people sleep from time to time! LOL!

Here are some of my best finds with the big "C", and a typical amount of clad from one hunt.
Bought it used from Skiwhiz and started hunting with it last September.
It is one of 3 detectors I use so it gets out at every tot lot, but really at regular sites only about 1/3 of the time.
If I had to guess on the actual hours, maybe about 50, give or take, but don't quote me on that because I don't keep track of that stuff.

Dollars worth/ time spent with it, it might be the most productive detector I own.

I have different "kinds" of sites and use an Ace/sniper coil, Silver umax, Compadre, Royal Sabre, Tracker IV. I don't keep up with my finds-all I have is big piles of coins all around the house.:surrender:

Perhaps a bit cranky and impatient after working a 12hr shift.
After thinking about it for a bit, probably not everybody has saved their valuable finds for a particular detector like I do.
This is strictly for silver and gold finds...or other significant PM's like platinum.
Will post by bounty from slightly over a year shortly.

I've noticed a lack of Youtube videos for Tesoro products. Tons of vids titled "Another big silver day for the Etrac," but none substituting the name, "Vaquero."

Soooo, I think this would be good forum for Tesoro finds. I have no pics, but since March my Compadre has found a silver kids ring, 3 .925 earrings and a gold plated Sicily pendant (large Italian population where I live) and a gold plated ring. Still waiting on karat gold.

The Compadre also has found 1899 Indian Head and a 1928 Merc in a totlot, of all places. The totlot was installed in a schoolyard dating from 1918, so that explains that.

The Vaquero found a 1936 quarter, 1956 dime, and a 1906 Barber quarter in its first week. No silver since....

This is reality for me.
Nowhere near as much as I "expected" but the majority has been in the last four months.
My favorite is the Barber quarter with a bullet hole that I found at 3200' in the Cascades during a backpacking outing last year. .
Next up would be the handmade necklace. I was hunting with Robroy and his Minelab that day. (notice I haven't bought a Minelab?)
I predict many more dimes in the future...have learned a few tricks in a years time.
