Pros and cons please.
What units work well, which ones gave you problems?
As popular as sunray gold corded phones are, maybe Ralph needs to come up with a wireless pair?

Detectorex or Daugbisquit uses the wireless earbuds, they really seem to like them! they would probably be the ones to ask!!

2 years back I used the Radio Crash wireless setup. They worked great! For a week or two. They then began to break up and distort on the higher freqs. I had purchased the extended warranty, but never went back. I've used their products for 35 years, and everything electronic has had a very short lifespan.

I exclusively use the ear buds...

The over the ear wireless auvio does have issues (staying alive, cracking on high pitch).

However the past year and a half I have been running the same pair of the auvio ear buds with great success, no issues, no concerns. They almost seem like two different company made the ear buds and someone else made the over ears. The sound quality on the buds is enough to make your ear drums spasm. Crystal clear, not effected by EMI or your unit and no lag what so ever. The price tag is great, and Radio Shack covers them for a year for $5 buck (no questions ask replacement or refund including the warranty, can you say awesome). The wireless ear buds also have lithium batteries installed versus buying your own for the over ear style. Another great feature is the wireless ear buds charge through a miniusb cable that can be used in your vehicle. Or if you have a droid phone charger it works as well! Plug and charge it while surfing the web, yep. The charge to full is approx 2 hours which is great. You will get close to 10 hours non stop with that charge. The ear buds come with different size inserts so you can adjust what size you need for your ear. The ressesed area when put them in correctly cause a vacuum in your ear (like ear plugs) and they are great on the beach or other windy situations. I cant say they are the best, but with the price warranty and using various over the ear styles including ghosts, koss and others. They surprised me, and they accomplished there goal to minelab people by providing loud, quality sound comparable to the top dollar models.

Look Mom no hands!

I have the Radio Shack auvios and have had no problems. I've got to say, however, that there's something about the quality and feel of a good pair of phones like my Sunrays that keep me from using the RS's more often.

[size=large]i'm like Kraykepler in my use of the same brand of wireless. one thing you'd want to do is get an exstention plug with a 45 degree angle so as to move the transmitter under your battery housing and out of the way. otherwise you have to use an adapter to plug the transmitter into and then the set-up sticks out the back of the unit. as with anything not everyone will like it. it's worth a try to see though. mine works with all my detctors except my Garrett AT Pro. have a great day.
