Do you use a drone? What are you looking for? How do you use it to look at area's to detect? What kind of camera? Thanks!

in a farmed field.....looking for glass that glitters like diamonds .....or stones from foundations....depressions....saves some time out in a new field.I bought a drone for this purpose but then realised mapping out areas on my pc is WAY more effective. You have birds Eye & street views. Most of the drones I seen including the 1 I bought only have a battery life of 15 minutes.
yes but my house on the map is over 10 years old....anyway....I do use mine on a new field ...sometimes.
download an app on your phone for your type of drone....only has a 720p hd camera...wide lens is 1080p...or use bluestacks and use your computer to fly it...or fly without video for fun.Nice Elmy! Use one while the other is charging? Does the video feed straight to your phone or is it self contained?
Would I buy a drone just for metal detecting....no ! ..... but they are also fun to fly and play around with.Nice Elmy! Use one while the other is charging? Does the video feed straight to your phone or is it self contained?
Google the drones and watch the video's of their flight....It is newer technology so the video will be improved....cost wise...not yet....but you can see the difference in terrain and foundation stones in the field and glass if you fly into the sun's direction as it glitters in the sunlight. So are drones just a "cool toy" at this point, or do they have a legitimate use for metal detectors and nuggetshooters? I can see how they might be able to spot contact zones in the goldfields, or cellar holes in winter months, but is the cost justified?
