Well I certainly didn't find any gold after digging several pounds of lead!!

Lorraine and I headed to the lane today with great expectations..not much in the way of sand movement but we went to a different beach this time, used by many fishermen. Found many sinkers.....got a backache from carrying them around. Lorraine found a nice 14K gold band.......nothing but sinkers and oysters for me!!.....and some crusted clad.

May have been me that said that Bobbie and I still contend that it is a good assumption. If yer finding lead and people swim in the area or have swam in the area in the past, yer gittin' to the gold level of specific gravity on targets. Hey yer buddy found gold, you just did not get over the top of any! There are more gold targets at this location, go back and try again. GH
