The gold has been elusive for me this year. Usually I get 1 or 2 gold items digging in the old parks, but this year hasn't produced any. Last night I treated myself to a night at our local casino for my monthly deposit... While I was sitting at a slot machine, I noticed a golden object on the ground (back of my mind I thought it was a mini-snickers wrapper). I reached down and picked it up and it was a cufflink. It had a stamp on the part that attaches to the cuff marked 916 R. Did a quick google search and learned that this was 22K gold from India. Did a quick acid test when I got home and confirmed it was the real deal. Weighs in at 2.5 grams. Talk about being at the right place at the right time 
Usually when I get lucky like that, I have a streak of luck. Definitely getting out tomorrow to hunt the park. We just got some rain today so I know I should be getting some goodies tomorrow. HH!
