check out the information on Kellyco's website about the Excelerator coils.
In addition, you might want to E-mail those of us who are using them a lot in the field for any particulars you might want answers to. Also, as Gary mentioned, give JW a call at Kellyco.
The 5" Excelerator coil was one of two coils from Detech I evaluated last fall. The other was their 14" Excelerator. i had 2 bad 12.5 inch excellarator coils for my MKT .seems there bwas a defective batch with the wiring inside the coil but JW at kellyco fixed it all up for me and is sending me a 14 inch excellarator coil for the same price. call JW he will always work with you. HH from wisc
