Who makes the 5" excelerator coil,where and how much?

Made by Detech in Germany, sold by Kellyco- talk to JW or ck use classifieds (rarely found, but possible. Ask JW to test it on your kind of machine first!! -

check out the information on Kellyco's website about the Excelerator coils.
In addition, you might want to E-mail those of us who are using them a lot in the field for any particulars you might want answers to. Also, as Gary mentioned, give JW a call at Kellyco.
The 5" Excelerator coil was one of two coils from Detech I evaluated last fall. The other was their 14" Excelerator. The 5" Excelerator left such a lasting and favorable impression that I had to get another one, and, naturally, I had to get another MXT to use it on! <img src="/metal/html/smile.gif" border=0 width=15 height=15 alt=":)">
The MXT, once mastered, is a very 'fun' detector to use because it has a lot of capabilities governed by easy-to-adjust controls. Mated with a 5" Excelerator coil, this combination has become my primary-use unit and coil. I keep a 12
 
i had 2 bad 12.5 inch excellarator coils for my MKT .seems there bwas a defective batch with the wiring inside the coil but JW at kellyco fixed it all up for me and is sending me a 14 inch excellarator coil for the same price. call JW he will always work with you. HH from wisc
