I just made reservations for two weeks in January at the Emerald Coast Beach resort in Panama City. Arriving on January 11 (My BIRTHDAY!!) and will stay at least two weeks there.
This will mark the official beginning of my retirement, when I dip my loop into the surf for the first time.!!
I know theres someone on the forums from there, but don't remember for sure. seems like it was Ozzie. he posts on Surf and Sand.
Anyhow, I'll be down there, easy to spot.
White haired buff guy swinging an Excal!
Sure hope some of you can wander thru during our stay, love to meet any and all of you.

Congrats on your upcoming retirement!!!Been to Panama City Beach couple times, but don't live there. If ya get the chance,Eat at Sharky's,out on the beach, also when ya cross bridge to beach,on the left is a place with a dinner cruise that's good, wish I could remember the name for you,you can see the boat/marina from the road. They have the cheapest ferry to Shell Island. If you get a chance to go,to us it was the neatest place on our whole trip. It's a remote island,no food no potty, but they let you bring whatever you want, and the ferry's run like every 1/2-1 hour, and they take you out to see dolphins on the way there. We're going to the Atlantic side for the first time,2nd week of Oct.Have a great time, and a early Happy Birthday to you!
