Who is using the sunray probe on their EXPLORER

if the coin is there it will sound at 1 to 18 especially large cents.

Without a doubt the X-l is the best out there. It has helped me on every coin. No telling how many I would have scratched without it.

I have the Sunray probe on my explorer. I also own a DetectorPro pocket probe. When I first started out with my explorer, I didn't trust the sunray, aa I didn't think it got enough depth. That opinion has been changed!!!
I brought my pocket probe with me on a hunt, and did a comparison between the two.
on a 6 hour hunt, this is what I found===
If the sunray couldn't detect it from the surface, the pocket probe would not detect it either. If the sunray did detect the target the pocket probe did also.
From my findings I think either one is as good as the other for pinpointing. Where the two probes seperate and the sunray wins, is the sunray is dedicated to the explorer, it uses its tones for ID and you don't have to move the detector out of the vicinity to use it just a simple switch, and a big benefit (for me) is its mounted to the detector.
I am keeping the DetectorPro for my Garret, but If my Sunray breaks, i'm buying another Sunray.
It sure makes hunting life a lot more fun

I love my x-1 probe wouldn't go any other way! it has great depth And it will save you from scratching that rare coin are that sought after CS buckle. I just got a Tejon and I really like it for relic hunting, But I allways seem to grab the ExII just for the simple reason that I can use the X-1. You wouldn't belive the time it saves on recovery. I purchased the vibraprobe for the Tejon but there is no comparison to the X-1.I was kinda disapointed that it only got an inch at the most.
