OBN sells the end caps if you just need those as well. Might talk to the guys at Kelleyco on the seals since they now service the Xcal as well.

I am doing a few since winter is here but I will be stopping come April 2014, because of hunting season (GGA's only then) will start up fall of 2014 with repairs again, I did do 6 repairs n mods last week.
Between remolding my house, selling it, moving, repair detectors, headphones I may have got out 25 times this year. So New Years Resolution, Must Go detecting 3 to 4 times a week spring to fall...I Hope. PM what you need and maybe I can help....3 of these pictured needed O Rings, they were bad....The Gray Ghost Amphibian's are Hot Also!!..........Thanks Joe

I did the 10x12 SEF coil modification to the Excal II myself (a lot of information for mods is located in the stickies at the top of the forum page). OldBeechnut did the mod on the GG Amphibian headphones, and sent them ready to install. He did a great job.
Now, when I go hunting at the beach, it's like I'm using a totally different detector, very sensitive to small deep targets, and now I hear everything except for the outside noise.
It runs so hot that I'm glad I have the water to cool it off.
If only it would have came out of the box that way
, but then again, we all customize our detectors to our own liking. HH
