Solve what?

I have a 7" coil Compadre and a Mojave and except for the color the coils seem to look the same.
They don't work quite the same but I think that is because they are on two different detectors.
The Mojave seems just as sensitive with similar speed and target separation abilities but it is several inches deeper than the Compadre in my dirt.
I wish I could switch coils and experiment but the Compadre is hardwired so no-go on that.
 
Would be nice if they did away with the hard-wire on compadre & sand shark and you would able to try other coils:clapping:

Might try Steve (SkiWhiz) or Sven. There are coil connector mods and both these fellows have the know how.
