I'm new to detecting and I am learning new stuff everyday.
When I ordered I ordered like I normally would anything else.
First Price which they were all the same price so that didn't matter.
Then Location of the shop. Normally when I shop online I pick a shop that's close to me in the thinking that I would get it faster.
Metal Detectors are not like that
I could be wrong
but this is my take on my wait for my Max
First Garrett sends them to the distributors only, Not to dealers.
Now the distributor have their own regions.
The distributors take care of their costumers first, Then the distributors pick which dealers in their region get them and how many they get.
Then the dealers have to go through their orders and pick who gets one.
If I could go back I would of ordered off a Regional Distributor, might of got mine a couple of weeks earlier.
Now under normal circumstance none of the above would of mattered, and I still would order off the shop that's closest to me.
But I think the delays in production plus the overwhelming demand kinda screwed up the system.
